Besi I-Beam dalam pelbagai saiz, dengan kedalaman (ketinggian) web, lebar bebibir, dan ketebalan web serta bebibir berbeza-beza untuk memenuhi keperluan struktur yang berbeza. Ia sering digunakan dalam projek bangunan kediaman, bangunan komersial berskala lebih kecil, dan struktur yang memerlukan rentang panjang tetapi kurang beban. Terdapat 2 standard yang tersedia: IPE dan IPN.
